AppSense Management Center
The AppSense Management Center provides a system that enables centralized management and deployment of AppSense software to computers on corporate networks. This includes mechanisms for centralized alert and event monitoring, policy configuration and reporting.
The Management Center is comprised of a Management Server, SQL Server, Management Console and the Client Communications Agent (CCA). It is fully integrated with the individual components of the AppSense Management Suite to provide a comprehensive User Environment Management solution, capable of delivering consistent, contextual, secure and responsive user environments.

- Active Directory authentication
Tight integration with Microsoft Active Directory allows authentication of all managed devices before communications are established.

New Directory Groups allow membership rules to be configured in advance, so new clients registering with the Management Server are automatically placed in the correct Deployment group.

SThe CCA can be deployed out from a centralized location and resides on each managed device, handling all communications, package installations and audit data collection / transfer.

A rich, interactive set of reports for auditing user environment usage. Based on audit data stored in the centralized Management Center, these reports display a complete audit history across the entire enterprise. - Rich Management Console
A flexible .NET management console offers a comprehensive, yet simple administrative experience.
- Roles based access
User can be granted read-only or full access to the various views within the Management Console. Access is automatically prohibited for any user not authorized to view deployment, auditing or configuration data.
- Secure web-based communications
Built on WinHTTP, BITS and IIS 6 technologies, all data transfers and communications can be managed across HTTPS or HTTP protocols.
- Watchdog agent
The Watchdog agent resides on each managed device. Should any of the AppSense agents stop unexpectedly or become unstable, the Watchdog will audit the detected error, and make corrective actions to restart the agent.
- X64 Support
Provides support for installation of the Management Server and AppSense Client Computing Agent on 32-bit or 64-bit platforms.
