The AppSense Application Manager provides protective measures such as blocking the execution of all unauthorized software and supplies you with extensive options for creating rules to manage production application usage.
This guide provides a practical approach to configuring the AppSense Auditing system for distributing and handling events raised by AppSense products. The system consists of the AppSense Auditing Console and Auditing Agent.

The Auditing Console is an administrative tool for creating and managing Auditing configurations. In Standalone Mode the console saves its settings directly to the local system registry. The Auditing Agent resides on the controlled computers. The Auditing Agent receives events raised by AppSense products and distributes them to the configured Auditing components.
